Job Title: Events Coordinator

Client Location: South West London (3 days onsite per week – Tues, Weds, Thurs)

Starting: June 2026

Pay Rate: up to £230 per day (PAYE Only)

Hours: Full-time

Duration: until 30th September 2026, contract

Are you a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with a passion for bringing impactful events to life? This is an incredible opportunity to join a dynamic team that designs and executes high-profile developer experiences across multiple international locations. As an integral part of the Developer Relations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless event delivery, directly contributing to the success of developers and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies. Your precision and proactive support will be vital in creating memorable and effective engagements, from intimate workshops to large-scale presentations, fostering a vibrant global community.

What You’ll Do

Your contributions will span the full event lifecycle, from initial planning to post-event analysis, ensuring every detail is meticulously managed.

Planning & Coordination

  • Support event planning alongside senior team members, including intake tracking, logistics documentation, and milestone monitoring
  • Assist with budget tracking and proactively flag upcoming event requests to appropriate financial contacts
  • Coordinate event content logistics, manage approval processes, and ensure all materials are finalised and distributed well in advance
  • Arrange essential event components such as speaker rehearsals, catering orders, and security requests
  • Prepare event promotion copy for review, support the approval process, and publish events on internal platforms
  • Assist with asset coordination and internal channel placement for marketing initiatives
  • Administer developer registrations and serve as a primary point of contact for attendee inquiries
  • Monitor team travel bookings to ensure alignment with budget and timelines
  • Support internal teams with venue logistics coordination, AV scheduling, and facilities requests

On-Site Execution

  • Assist with comprehensive event setup, including preparing name badges for all attendees and staff
  • Support staff briefings and facilitate efficient check-in operations
  • Provide essential on-the-ground support to venue staff, internal teams, and attendees throughout the event
  • Assist with event breakdown and all post-event logistical requirements

Post-Event

  • Contribute to staff debrief sessions by accurately taking notes and tracking action items
  • Record attendance data and compile detailed post-event reports
  • Support the production of monthly outcome summaries, analysing attendee engagement and platform adoption

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Proven experience coordinating events, projects, or operational programs at scale
  • Exceptional attention to detail and high reliability; adept at accurate data entry across various tools and systems
  • A clear and proactive communicator, comfortable asking questions, following up, and flagging issues early
  • Highly adaptable to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly across various regions
  • Organised and dependable, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with technical event setup and audio-visual equipment
  • Experience with modern collaboration and productivity tools
  • Exposure to developer, engineering, or technology community events
