Our client is the UK’s fastest growing online travel agent with a mission to open the world to everyone and provide their customers with unlimited choice, unmatched ease and unmissable value.
They have grown from zero, to being the 3rd largest package holiday provider in the UK in the last 10 years; more recently have expanded their footprint to become the largest package holiday OTA in Ireland. As part of their continued expansion efforts they are launching into the German market, where they will build a dedicated team to bring the company proposition to life for German customers.

Reporting to the General Manager in Germany, this role is an integral part of the onsite team working with our client in Germany. You’ll be responsible for crafting all marketing copy and content for all on and off site activity for our client in Germany. You’ll also work closely with the central content team, with a dotted reporting line to the Head of Editorial.



● Fluent in English and German, both verbal and written communication
● Ability to translate copy from English into German to a high standard
● Excellent copywriting and content creation skills
● Understanding of how brand guidelines influence the copy you create, including tone of voice
● Understanding of how to adapt copy to a range of platforms e.g. email and social media
● Understanding of how SEO influences onsite content
● A team player who can work well with teams in the office and remotely
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills
● Ability to work autonomously to tight deadlines and prioritise different projects effectively
● Excellent research skills
● Fast learner


● Familiarity or fluency in other European languages
● Experience in the travel sector
● Good understanding of social media
● Familiarity with Google suite


● Reviewing and editing copy translated from English to German to fit brand guidelines and tone of voice
● Maintaining and updating content so that it’s always fresh and accurate
● Creating impactful, useful and engaging pages that help our customers and rank well in Search
● Working with other stakeholders to plan and deliver content that supports the wider business
● Measuring and evaluating the success (or failure!) of the content you produce, and reporting on your findings to your team and other stakeholders, so our content continually improves
