The focus is on accelerating their impact in the media space across the Benelux region. The media team collaborates closely with various departments to exceed business objectives.

About the Role:
As the Hair Care Media Manager, you will be a key player in one of our client’s fastest-growing categories, responsible for defining and executing innovative and efficient media strategies in the Benelux market. This role encompasses traditional and digital media, performance marketing, social media, branded content, and influencer collaborations. Collaboration with the Hair Care category team, eCommerce, and regional teams is essential to achieve brand KPIs and business targets.

 

Responsibilities

Media Strategy and Planning: 

  • Own the digital and offline media strategy for Hair Care, collaborating with the category team. 

  • Act as a spokesperson for all media-related Hair Care plans, activities, and results. 

  • Develop, activate, and optimise robust media plans aligned with defined KPIs. 

  • Ensure media plans reflect performance insights, local consumption, and industry trends. 

  • Manage stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and timely deliverables. 

Digital Marketing Planning and Optimization: 

  • Deliver on ambitious paid media targets for the direct business. 

  • Collaborate with eCommerce and performance teams to build forecasts and traffic plans. 

  • Daily review and optimisation of media performance, exploring new technology platforms. 

  • Create holistic journeys across paid and owned spaces, engaging core and new audiences. 

Media Innovation and T&L Approach: 

  • Develop test and learn frameworks, maximising revenue and efficiency. 

  • Advocate for media innovation while leveraging insights from previous launches. 

  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to implement best practices and share learnings. 

Champion Data, Insights, and Learnings: 

  • Connect brand health, competitiveness, and revenue performance for a comprehensive view. 

  • Analyse campaign impact from awareness to conversion using analytics tools. 

  • Report on commercial success, media KPIs, and return on investment. 

  • Own media competitive insight tracking and insights from marketing mix modelling

Local Content Creation, Activation, and Amplification: 

  • Create and activate locally relevant content through social creators and beauty publishers. 

  • Amplify content to reach and engage with a broader beauty audience. 

  • Collect insights, learnings, and campaign performance to inform organisational strategies.

About You: 

  • Passionate about offline and online media channels. 

  • Proactive learner of cutting-edge methodologies in digital marketing and eCommerce. 

  • Ability to identify opportunities, gaps, and areas for efficiencies in the business. 

  • Strong analytical skills to spot trends and understand their impact.

Skills & Previous Experience: 

  • Qualification in Marketing, with 5+ years of experience in Media. 

  • Solid knowledge of all media channels and tactics. 

  • Passion for digital and its role in driving commercial success. 

  • Previous experience in Beauty is beneficial. 

  • Proficient in English and Dutch and/or French. 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 

  • Highly analytical with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. 

  • Experience using digital analytics tools is beneficial. 

  • Proven ability to work autonomously and in cross-functional teams.

  • Solid knowledge and experience of all media channels, tactics, and their role”
