As a Marketing Data Scientist for the EMEA Marketing team, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making across our marketing initiatives. Your expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling will help us understand our customers better, optimize our marketing strategies, and measure the effectiveness of our campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform marketing strategies and business decisions.
  • Model Development: Develop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms to optimize marketing efforts and enhance customer targeting.
  • Performance Measurement: Design and implement experiments to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, including A/B testing and multivariate testing.
  • Customer Segmentation: Utilize data mining techniques to segment customers and identify key behavioral and demographic attributes.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders, making complex data understandable and actionable.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product, and engineering, to align data initiatives with business goals.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure the quality and accuracy of data through rigorous validation and cleaning processes.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in quantitative data analysis and modeling, preferably in the marketing or advertising industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Python ideally or SQL if not.
  • Familiar with manipulating large sets of data. 
  • Degree in a quantitative discipline (i.e. Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiar with development of marketing campaigns across performance marketing and growth marketing. Optimizing the campaigns – conversion rate, click through rate, impressions etc.
  • Experience accessing internal systems and data usage approval processes (Privacy/Legal Reviews, User Data Policies & Guidelines).
  • Ability to own data-related work streams as part of a cross-functional team.
