We are partnering with a leading fintech company to find a dedicated Content Specialist/Writer. This role focuses on creating, optimizing, and managing content to enhance customer support and product usability.

This is a 6-month contract, offering £278.48 per day (PAYE).

Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation & Optimization: Develop, optimize, and generate new content for assigned product areas to provide in-product, self-service, and assisted support information. This content helps customers successfully use the company’s products (accounting software).
  • User Research: Research user needs and gain an in-depth understanding of assigned products.
  • Editing & Review: Edit the work of peers to ensure high-quality support information.
  • Compliance: Ensure all content complies with legal, style, and corporate standards.
  • Content Collection: Gather and curate product feature information, ensuring relevance and avoiding redundancy.
  • Analysis & Improvement: Analyze past versions of self-help content and suggest restructuring based on data to meet new user needs.
  • Information Design: Plan and deliver information design for assigned areas for each product and new release, across various media formats.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with SMEs, other Tech Writers, and Sr. Tech Writers across time zones to focus on critical content needs.
  • Template & Presentation Input: Provide input on templates, web page design, and document presentation.
  • Feedback Integration: Suggest article- and topic-level improvements based on Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback, including new trends and adjusted procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience in content creation and management, particularly in a fintech or technology environment.
  • Skills: Proficient in using Content Management Systems, including WordPress and Jira.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and adherence to style and compliance guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and across time zones.
