As a Product Marketing Manager, you’ll work closely with product, sales, and engineering teams to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive product growth and adoption. You will be responsible for identifying user needs, shaping product features, and creating compelling narratives that highlight the value of our products to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Market Research and Analysis:

    • Conduct market research to identify user needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
    • Analyze customer feedback and usage data to inform product development and marketing strategies.
    • Segment audiences and develop targeted marketing plans.
  • Product Positioning and Messaging:

    • Develop and refine product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market.
    • Create compelling product narratives and communicate product value propositions across multiple channels.
    • Collaborate with content creators, designers, and external agencies to produce marketing materials (e.g., case studies, product videos, and landing pages).
  • Go-to-Market Strategy:

    • Plan and execute product launches, including creating marketing collateral, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and managing launch timelines.
    • Develop go-to-market strategies that include pricing, channel strategy, and promotional campaigns.
    • Work closely with sales teams to equip them with the necessary tools and materials to sell the product effectively.
  • Customer Engagement and Advocacy:

    • Develop programs to drive customer engagement, retention, and advocacy.
    • Build relationships with key customers and gather insights to refine product and marketing strategies.
    • Foster a community around Google products through events, user groups, and other engagement activities.
  • Performance Measurement and Optimization:

    • Define and track key performance metrics for marketing initiatives.
    • Analyze campaign performance and customer behavior to optimize marketing strategies.
    • Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to continuously improve marketing effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
    • 5+ years of experience in marketing
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
    • Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
    • Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and self-directing their projects in an unstructured environment.
    • Experience working closely with Product and Engineering to develop GTM strategies and align on hero features.
    • AI experience and/or passion for the AI space
