About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and organised individual to provide part-time social media support to members of our executive team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our client’s executives’ presence on social media platforms by amplifying their thought leadership and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Executive Alignment: Collaborate with executives to define social media goals and ensure content aligns with their personal brand and key focus areas.
  • Research & Insights: Monitor client’s content, industry trends, relevant topics, and audience engagement to inform content strategy.
  • Content Creation: Craft engaging social media posts that authentically reflect each executive’s voice and thematic focus.
  • Social Media Management: Use client’s employee advocacy platform, EveryoneSocial, to curate content for executives and track platform engagement.
  • Engagement & Community Building: Monitor audience interactions, encourage executives to respond to comments, and actively engage with followers to foster community.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Analyse performance metrics to assess content effectiveness and provide regular insights.
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather relevant content and ensure cohesive messaging.
  • Brand Consistency: Uphold client’s brand voice and style across all social media platforms, adhering to established guidelines.
  • Crisis Management Support: Assist in developing and implementing strategies to address negative feedback or potential crises on social media.

About You

  • Experience: At least 7 years of experience in social media management or a related field.
  • Excellent Writing and Communication Skills: Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging social media content that resonates with diverse audiences.
  • Strong Organisational and Time Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Social Media Savvy: Deep understanding of major social media platforms (LinkedIn a priority) and their respective best practices.
  • Familiarity with Employee Advocacy Platforms: Experience using or supporting employee advocacy platforms is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Content Creation Tools: Comfortable using graphic design and video editing software to create visually appealing content.
  • Passion for Technology and Social Media: Genuine interest in the technology industry and the role of social media in building thought leadership and brand awareness.
