Our client is seeking an Events Specialist to support EMEA Field Enablement activities, which include but are not limited to event planning and support—specifically end-to-end event logistics for its field teams: sales, technical, and partner

The successful candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude, thrive in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing business priorities, possess a good understanding of corporate organisational structures, and demonstrate strong project management and stakeholder communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the EMEA Regional Enablement team and stakeholders on project coordination and event support for EMEA regional programmes
  • End-to-end coordination of live and virtual-live events, including planning and managing the following
    • Logistics: venue and room bookings, dates, food & beverage, audio-visual, training materials
    • Contracts and vendor management
    • Invitations and registration
    • Communication
    • On-site event support; travel as required
    • Event budget management
    • Quarterly reporting & analysis (summaries, trends, etc.)
    • Planning calendar (internal)
    • Surveys
  • Communications—writing and editing—for projects, events, invitations, etc.
  • Interact with stakeholders and field leaders for logistics and roster management
  • Manage group mail accounts, distribution lists, and calendars

Requirements

  • 5–7 years’ experience in project management and/or event coordination
  • Strong MS Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong project management skill set: organisation, ability to manage multiple projects, attention to detail, responsiveness, follow-up and communication, flexibility, and deadline-driven delivery
  • Ability to work in a team environment, receiving direction from multiple leads
  • Positive attitude and ability to remain agile with multiple and evolving team priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel to support events on-site
  • Ability to adapt communication style to stakeholder level and function
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have a commitment to quality and be results-driven
