Contract – 5 months, Location – Central London (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
- As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications.
- You deliver full pieces of functionality on moderately complex projects with minimal assistance. You architect high quality softwrae applications, and design key tools and systems that support said software applications.
Top 5 Daily Responsibilities:
- Write and review code in the following languages; JavaScript or TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, Golang, and SQL
- Test, debug, maintain and/or update full-stack applications.
- Create services using standard software development tools.
- Write and review technical documents, including design, development, and revision documents.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, and engineering teams, to deliver new features.
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications: (All skills, both technical and soft, required to be successful in the role)
- Education: BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or related quantitative field or 3 years of experience in software development.
- 3+ years experience writing JavaScript or TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, Golang, and SQL
- 3+ years experience developing resource oriented APIs
- 3+ years experience designing and debugging databases
- Experience in multiple general purpose programming languages and building large, scaled full stack solutions.
- Microservice design and implementation.
