Our client, a global leader in connecting people worldwide, seeks a Media Manager to join their dynamic International Family of Apps team. As a Media Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and executing integrated media campaigns that amplify the company’s brand message and drive business outcomes. You will collaborate with Insights & Analytics, Decision Science, Creative, Policy & Comms, and Partnerships teams to ensure cohesive and impactful media strategies across multiple channels. This role demands a strategic thinker who can translate data into actionable insights, identify emerging trends, and navigate the complexities of international media landscapes.
This is a 12-month contract role aimed to start ASAP. Our client works on a hybrid model where you will be required to work onsite in their Central London office 3 days per week. The role comes with a gross PAYE rate of £44.23 per hour, equivalent to £91,998 per annum, pro rata. This includes up to 33 days of holiday per annum, pro rata, inclusive of bank holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Develop data-driven media plans aligned with objectives and audience insights, emphasizing innovation and measurable results
- Leverage data analysis to inform audience targeting, media channel selection, and campaign optimisation
- Act as a media subject matter expert, incorporating industry best practices and innovation across digital and traditional channels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integrated marketing campaigns that align with overall brand strategy
- Partner with external media agencies and the Global Media team to ensure cohesive media planning and execution worldwide
- Manage multiple media work streams and deliverables, ensuring seamless campaign execution across internal and external teams
- Analyse campaign performance, provide insights, and recommend optimisations for ongoing campaigns and future initiatives
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Senior-level experience in media planning, either within an agency or client-side
- Experience working across multiple international markets (EMEA and/or LATAM)
- Proven ability to build strong relationships, navigate cross-functional teams, and present to stakeholders and leadership
- Demonstrated expertise in measurement, analytics, and using audience insights to develop compelling narratives
- Experience managing the development of full-funnel media strategies
- Strong understanding of media trends, measurement, and analytics
- Experience planning and executing multi-channel media campaigns in data-driven environments
- Ability to identify opportunities for campaign optimization and audience segmentation based on data analysis and research
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience managing a media agency
- Experience collaborating directly with creative teams to align creative strategy with media strategy and channel selection
- Experience working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Deep understanding of the digital ecosystem and how analytics drive decision-making, with the ability to translate data-driven strategies into actionable plans with measurable ROI
