We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to contribute to the growth of our client’s revenue engine by identifying new partnership opportunities and driving strategic deals. This role involves defining partnership strategies, engaging with stakeholders, and scaling the value proposition of new products through tailored partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse the partnership landscape to identify and prioritize opportunities for incremental revenue growth.
  • Evaluate and structure global business cases, negotiate, and close key strategic deals across various partner ecosystems (e.g., Commerce, Data Signals, Ads, and Video).
  • Demonstrate expertise in legal and business issues in contracts to craft innovative win-win solutions for partners.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment to facilitate informed decision-making during deal processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define go-to-market strategies and ensure leadership sign-off.

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Manage 2-3 workstreams, monitoring progress and aligning with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct research, analyse partnerships, and contribute to contract review processes.
  • Drive innovation by testing new partnership models, working with key stakeholders like partner management, sales, legal, and finance teams.
  • Deliver measurable results, including signed contracts, successful pilot tests, and ecosystem enhancements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in an internet or technology environment.
  • Proven success in partnerships, business development, or business strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to close complex software, services, or licensing deals, including navigating legal negotiations.
  • Data-driven project management skills to test, learn, and scale initiatives effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills for deriving actionable insights from data.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills within matrixed organizational structures.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, advertising, and online business models is preferred.
