We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industry Manager to join our client’s dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in marketing, digital media, and business development to drive client’s business forward while delivering innovative and impactful solutions to meet client objectives. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and senior stakeholders, providing strategic insights, and managing digital media campaigns across various platforms, including Google Search, Display, and YouTube.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Objective Understanding & Solution Development:
    Understand client objectives and prepare tailored solutions to meet their needs, ensuring alignment with business goals and measurable outcomes.

  • Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships across all levels of an organisation, including senior stakeholders. Establish yourself as a trusted partner, both with clients and wider external partners.

  • Business Development:
    Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing client relationships. Demonstrate consultative sales expertise to deliver comprehensive, value-driven strategies.

  • Campaign Management:
    Manage advertising budgets and campaigns, ensuring the successful implementation of digital media strategies. You will have experience in media planning and, ideally, AV planning and buying.

  • Complex Programme & Change Management:
    Support or deliver complex programs and transformational change, ensuring smooth delivery and measurable success.

  • Collaboration & Results:
    Navigate complex organisations and diverse stakeholders, ensuring cross-functional teams collaborate effectively to achieve results in a timely and efficient manner.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Industry Experience:
    Proven experience in marketing, retail, or a digital pure-play business, with a solid understanding of the digital landscape and its impact on business success.

  • Digital Media Expertise:
    Experience managing digital media campaigns and advertising budgets, with strong knowledge of media planning and buying, particularly in AV (audio-visual) planning.

  • Business Development & Sales:
    Demonstrated ability to drive business development through consultative sales and building strong client relationships.

  • Product Knowledge:
    Familiarity with products and services across Search, Display, and YouTube, and how they can be used to optimise client outcomes.

  • Stakeholder Management:
    Proven ability to create and sustain effective relationships across various levels of an organisation, with a particular focus on senior-level stakeholders.

  • Problem-Solving & Strategic Thinking:
    Ability to analyse complex situations and provide clear, actionable strategies to support clients’ long-term business goals.

  • Experience in Complex Programs:
    Experience in delivering complex programmes or transformational change within an organisation.
