JOB TITLE: Analytical Engineer / Data Analyst 

LOCATION: Amsterdam, hybrid (2 days per week onsite) 

DURATION: Until 30th April 2026

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and deploying digital products at scale. You’ll work collaboratively within a cross-functional team, bridging the gap between business needs and robust data solutions. Your contributions will directly influence product development and strategic direction, ensuring that every decision is backed by solid data.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the development of data products for digital solutions, specifically for an innovative digital marketplace.
  • Serve as the main senior data analyst within a cross-functional product team, driving data-driven decision-making from concept to deployment.
  • Translate complex business needs into clear data requirements and design effective data solutions.
  • Implement and deploy digital products at scale, ensuring data integrity and performance.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses, transforming intricate data findings into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Design colleagues to integrate data insights seamlessly into product development.
  • Contribute to the broader Data & Machine Learning community within the organization, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Write clean, efficient code to build and maintain data pipelines and analytical models.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • A strong academic background in analytics, computer science, econometrics, or a related field (Master’s degree or equivalent experience).
  • Extensive experience in a mid-level data analyst and/or analytical engineer role.
  • Exceptional proficiency in SQL and experience with leading data visualization tools.
  • Demonstrated experience with modern data transformation tools and cloud data platforms.
  • Solid understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies, with the ability to apply them to real-world business problems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex findings to diverse audiences.
  • A hands-on, positive attitude with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Detail-oriented mindset, coupled with a passion for using data and code to solve fast-paced business challenges.
  • Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience with two-sided marketplace dynamics.
