Steve co-founded Aquent in 1986 in his dorm room at Harvard University. For over 30 years, he has played a central role in developing and implementing the company’s strategy, in roles ranging from billable creative talent to president of two operating divisions. Steve recently returned from running Aquent’s Japan operations, where he lived with his family for five years.
Previously, Steve managed venture capital investments for Harvard University’s endowment fund and advised Fortune 500 clients for the Boston Consulting Group. He has served as a board member of a broad range of public and private technology businesses, including Angie’s List (NASDAQ: ANGI) where he served on the audit and compensation committees.
Steve earned a bachelor’s degree cum laude from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is a former radio talk show host, a guest lecturer on college campuses, and is fond of saying, “A ship is safe in harbor, but that’s not what ships are for.”
