Freelance Accessibility Specialist

Make a real difference in the digital world! Aquent is partnering with a global leader in retail on a mission to create inclusive digital experiences for everyone. As a key contributor to their Digital Inclusive Design, Equity, & Accessibility Center of Expertise (Digital IDEA CoE), you’ll champion accessibility and ensure digital products meet the needs of diverse users.

In this exciting role, you will be instrumental in driving digital accessibility initiatives and ensuring compliance with WCAG standards. Collaborate with a team of experts to assess, fix, and enhance digital experiences, leveraging your development expertise and knowledge of assistive technologies and cyber security.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct digital accessibility assessments and implement necessary fixes.
• Provide development support for accessible digital products.
• Leverage assistive technologies to enhance user experiences.
• Contribute to cyber security efforts related to digital accessibility.

Must-Haves:

• Proven experience in development.
• Strong understanding of digital accessibility principles and WCAG standards.
• Experience with assistive technologies.
• Knowledge of cyber security best practices.
