Join a global entertainment company as a Lead Investigator within their People Relations team, partnering with Aquent Talent. As a Lead Investigator, you will play a critical role in upholding the company’s values and ensuring a safe and respectful workplace. You will conduct objective investigations into employee relations matters, partnering with HR and legal teams to resolve complex issues. Your insights will shape company policies and contribute to a more inclusive and equitable workplace.
This is a 12 months, hybrid contract, offering up to £350 per day (PAYE). This role is open for a limited time. Next steps will be shared with shortlisted candidates by COB Friday 29th August. Due to the high volume of applicants, we may be unable to reply to each applicant individually.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct impartial investigations into sensitive workplace issues, including harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, adhering to internal policies and legal requirements.
- Gather and analyze evidence, interview witnesses, and document findings in comprehensive reports.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Legal, and other stakeholders to address employee relations concerns and implement appropriate solutions.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other investigators, ensuring consistent and fair practices across the EMEA region.
- Identify trends and patterns in employee relations issues and recommend proactive measures to improve workplace culture and prevent future incidents.
- Present investigation findings to HR and business leaders, offering recommendations for corrective action and policy improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of all investigations and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of investigation procedures and training programs.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Solid experience conducting employment-related investigations.
- Undergraduate degree required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR policies, practices, and procedures, including relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and analyze data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Ability to manage multiple investigations simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Entertainment industry experience.
- Experience working with diverse employee populations across different cultures and legal jurisdictions.
- Knowledge of multiple European languages.
