Our client seeks an individual with expert level data story-telling capability to empower trajectory-changing growth of the UK sales team. This role requires deep knowledge working with complex data sets to provide ongoing thought partnership to sales and sales ops leaders within the UK business. This is a position where relationship building with data-enabling partners is critical, this individual will be expected to take a “what if this was my business” approach to problem solving and recommendations.

Responsibilities:

● Clear and demonstrable experience working in a fast-paced matrix environment
● Natural relationship builder, leveraging network to reduce duplication and increase insight
● Clear ‘data, insight, action’ approach to data management, has built scalable insight solutions which enable strategic decision making
● Creates new data insight through handling/joining/cleaning multiple sources of data to provide recommendations on next actions or to review historic performance of data management principles and processes
● Natural inclination to strategic thinking, has experience as data expert within functional leadership group
● Researches and understands key business challenges, customer behaviours and target audience to drive increased contact and conversion rates
● Experience developing a clear and concise communication strategy with Senior Leadership teams
● Networks with centralised engineering teams to create solutions to data problems
● Learning mindset – able to identify and implement experiments which drive sales growth, is keen to expand existing data analysis skills

What you’ll need:

● 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations
● 2 + or more years of experience with Salesforce.com administration (certification an
asset)
● SQL, Tableau, and Alteryx are highly desirable

Skills:

● Advanced Excel, Power BI, VBA
● SQL including experience working with platforms such as Databricks or Github
● BI reporting such as Tableau or Qlik a bonus
● Data story-telling to include data / insight / action / recommendation
● Strong presentation and communications skills
● Creative with the ability to develop new ideas and solutions
● Strong problem-solving skills, has created repeatable frameworks for running productivity tests and demonstrating impact
● Adapts quickly and effectively to changing environments and initiatives
